How does one get around downtown Vancouver?Vancouver, British Columbia is served by an extensive public transportation network which
includes buses, ferries and the Skytrain. Many tourist attractions,
performing venues, shopping centers and restaurants are accessible by
using one of these options. If you need to reach the suburbs, Skytrain is a
fast and economical option and, because Skytrain is elevated, it
offers a great view of downtown and the surrounding natural beauty. In
2009, Skytrain will be expanded to connect downtown with the airport in under 30 minutes. Public transit also connects downtown to the
great outdoors. The SeaBus travels between downtown's Waterfront Station and Lonsdale Quay on the North Shore. The AquaBus provides
service between Granville Island and several downtown docks. Day
passes are available at C$9 for unlimited use. last updated 2008.10.30
