How does one get from Vancouver International Airport to the Whistler ski resort?

Two scheduled bus and shuttle services go between Vancouver International Airport and the town and resort of Whistler.  Pacific Coach runs the Whistler SkyLynx up to 12 times a day.  One-way adult fares cost C$51.45 with an add-on fee of about C$10 for door-to-door drop off.  The trip takes about 3 hours.  Tickets can be purchased from the SkyLynx counter in the Arrivals hall in either the international or domestic airport terminals.  Perimeter Bus offers 11 daily trips between the airport and Whistler.  Costs range from C$47 to C$63 for certain hotels and C$58 to C$73 for door-to-door service.  Advance reservations are required and it is important to be aware that some of the Perimeter buses go through Vancouver to pick up additional passengers before heading to Whistler.
