What are some ways of getting around downtown Toronto's tourist attractions?Downtown Toronto offers a number of tourist attractions such as the CN Tower,
City Hall, Eaton Center, the Hockey Hall of Fame and a number of
museums. The downtown area is very walkable even in inclement weather
due to the extensive underground P.A.T.H. system. If you needed a rest from your
sightseeing, there are plenty of cafés and restaurants for
refreshments. There are also a large number of public seating areas, including indoor ones within the Eaton Center Shopping Mall and outdoor ones
outside of City Hall. Downtown is well served by the subway and
streetcar systems, which interconnect at major downtown stations. You may find this downtown map, offered by the city of Toronto, to be helpful as it indicates major tourist attractions and transit stops. last updated 2008.10.19
