What are the liquid carry-on restrictions for major airports worldwide?

Most major international airports have implemented the 3-1-1 liquid limitation rule. Generally, the rule works as follows:

3 fluid ounces (100ml) liquid or gel personal items (e.g., shampoo, toothpaste, etc.)

1 quart-size (1 liter) clear resealable plastic bag to place your liquid-containing item

1 bag per passenger

Some exemptions may apply for medical needs, baby food and infant formula.

For a list of airports that have implemented the rule, please refer to the following document.
