What is there to do when having a long layover at San Francisco International Airport?

Like most major airports, San Francisco International Airport offers a wide variety of shopping and dining facilities. But, if you’re not in the mood to spend a good deal of money, we recommend taking a look at the museum exhibits located along the concourses throughout the airport. To see a list of current exhibits for your flight's concourse click here. If you find yourself hungry we recommend visiting the international terminal, as it tends to offer better dining options than the domestic terminal. To get from one to the other, just take the free AirTrain located above the airport's departure level. During the holiday travel season, spanning from around Thanksgiving through New Years Day, the airport also provides visitors with entertainment, gift-wrapping and discounts at airport stores.
