Which electrical plugs and voltages are used in Argentina?Argentina uses type C and I electrical plugs with a voltage of 220 V at
50 Hz. However, it's important to note that Argentina's type I outlets have the opposite polarity from Australian and, indeed, every other type I outlet in common use. This means that you should only use electrical appliances that are not dependent on electrical polarity. Aside from this issue there are some minor differences in the dimensions of the plugs and sockets but they are otherwise interoperable.last updated 2007.07.22
