Which electrical plugs and voltages are used in French Polynesia?French Polynesia uses type A, B and E electrical plugs with a voltage of either 110 V or 220 V at 60 Hz. Type A and B outlets will usually serve 110 V power while type E outlets will generally serve 220 V. However, be careful to verify prior to plugging in any sensitive electronics. Also, please note that type A outlets are likely to be of the Japanese type with prongs of equal width. As such, they won't fit standard North American plugs.last updated 2007.07.23
